Inlet
Feed Pressure at inlet is the minimum inlet pressure required at the high
pressure pump inlet, pressure must be measured at the inlet port.
Larger units have a designated pressure switch port.
When sizing a suitable boost pump, we recommend a margin of 25% to allow for inlet filter and pipework losses.
All inlet water must be filtered to 5µm
NB – If the inlet pressure drops below the minimum level the unit must be stopped immediately.

ERD Return Flow
A minimum back pressure of 2.5 bar must be maintained on the ERD return flow.
ERD Return Flow: Low pressure concentrate flow from ERD.
ERD Leakage: Lubrication/Cooling flow from the ERD.
